Franklin, TN - Jewelry designer, Amy Sale, owner and designer of Franklin based Santa Bella Jewelry, recently created a commemorative piece for the national premier of the movie, Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg. Based on The New York Times bestselling true story of heroism, courage and survival, Lone Survivor tells the incredible tale of four Navy SEALs on a covert mission to neutralize a high-level al-Qaeda operative and who are then ambushed by the enemy in the mountains of Afghanistan.

A staunch advocate for wounded soldiers and the U.S. military, Sale donated her design talent to create 100 custom pieces for the philanthropic organization, The Boot Campaign, host of the Lone Survivor premier. The pieces were given as a commemorative reminder to top sponsors and attendees for the January 8th Dallas premier.

Sale attended the premier with her dear friend and former chaplain, Victor Sheldon, who is now serving as Deputy Chief, to Joint Chiefs of Staff in Washington D.C. Author Marcus Luttrell, the only surviving member of the Navy SEALs on whom the book is based, walked the red carpet along with speaking to the packed theater.

Building awareness for our US military and giving back in this way is nothing new Sale.  These elements are a core part of the mission of Santa Bella Jewelry and have been for years. Inspired by her adopted hometown of Franklin, TN and the history of the Civil War, her Bella Honor Collection symbolizes and reflects her deep desire to fashion a reminder of core values, giving back and standing firm and tall for a purpose.

Each medallion is created from an original drawing, hand-sketched by Sale, transferred and cast by one of the country's pre-eminent tool and die artisans, George Moody, also of Franklin. The Bella Honor medallions are carefully replicated on a limited scale in order to maintain the rare individuality of the project.

A portion of all proceeds of the Bella Honor collection benefits organizations such as The Boot Campaign and Nashville based Courage Beyond. Sale’s design of the Bella Honor collection has created a fashionable outward symbol that honors those who serve by embracing core values and is a constant reminder of the bravery, sacrifice and commitment given through the generations.

All materials and components are made in the USA.
